Patient: Parveen Chand

Country: Fiji Island, Pacific Ocean

Disease: Kidney Problem

Treatment: Kidney Transplant

Doctor: Dr (Lt. Col.) Aditya Pradhan

Praveen Chand, a Fiji patient from pacific ocean, suffered from a number of kidney problems, which caused multiple health complications for him throughout the years. Finally tired of living his life on edge at just 48 years of age, Mr Praveen decided on getting a kidney transplant.

Fiji Island, as one can assume is not so popular for its medical facilities, forced him to look for medical care options outside his country. He got to know about the quality and affordable treatment facilities in India on the internet and decided on going forward with the treatment.

Praveen received his treatment from Dr (Lt. Col.) Aditya Pradhan, the senior consultant of urology and renal transplant department at BLK Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi.

Mr. Praveen Chand contacted the hospital before arriving in the country. And the hospital team stayed in touch with him, also scheduling a phone consultant for him with Dr Aditya, who was able to explain to him the whole treatment process.

Upon his arrival in India, and during his first consultant, Mr Chand was guaranteed by Dr Pradhan that he has a 99.9 per cent chance of recovering after his kidney transplant surgery, and that’s exactly what happened. Mr Praveen Chand and his relative, who donated his kidney to him are completely fine today.

He is really impressed with the management team and staff of the Hospital and feels that he is only alive today because of Dr Aditya Pradhan.
