A five old, brain tumour patient Sajjad Hussein Abbood Jamal also lovingly called Master Sajjad came to New Delhi for his treatment along with his father.

The young boy had a tumour in the left side of his brain which was causing symptoms like vomiting and headache, which got his parents attention. 

After consulting multiple doctors in Iraq, the parents decided to receive treatment from an Indian healthcare centre and choose BLK Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi.

Dr Anil Kumar Kansal is the HOD and Director Neurosurgery Department at BLK Hospital who was assigned to handle Master Sajjad’s case.

Dr Anil discussed the complications of the case, stating “a young patient with a CP Angle tumour is difficult to operate as it carries a high risk of life and other things weakness. The patients family came to me, and I explained to them that the procedure carries a few per cent risks other the kid is going to be fine. So took him for surgery. It was a 4-hour surgery; we kept him one day in ICU. And we are planning on discharging them in 5 days.”
