Mr Micheal Chidume, a 91-Year-old patient from Nigeria, had been suffering from arthritis in both his legs which caused him constant pain, making it very difficult for him to walk.

Mr Micheal and his family consulted dozens of doctors in Nigeria, but the doctors in the country refused to perform the TKR on him because of his age.

Micheal’s daughter was introduced to Global Health City, Chennai, by a friend, who upon online consultation agreed to operate her father. So they decided to come to India.

They met Dr Ajit Yadav, the director of Institute of Orthopedics at the hospital, who performed knee cap surgery on both his knees. Within three weeks after the procedure, Mr Micheal could move his legs.

Looking at the treatment delivered to his father and his improvement Micheal’s daughter will recommend this hospital to everyone in Nigeria. She is very thankful of the doctors to give his father some relief from his constant pain.
