Recently, Dr Vij managed a case of Denise Marliee Stillman, a 45-year-old US resident who suffered from a rare condition called hepatic epithelioid hemangioendothelioma.

Denise Marliee Stillman was unable to receive treatment on time in the United States, which made condition worse, making her desperate, after researching about different hospitals in India she took a flight to the country with her sister.

The patient opted for FMRI because of the high success rate delivered at the hospital. Denise’s sister, Abby Shelton came forward to be her liver donor. Abby recovered quickly after the surgery.

Denise was also able to discharge from the hospital within 15 days after showing evident improvement in her condition.
