Michele Justina Mecoy, a US citizen, was diagnosed from Degenerative Disc Disease in her lumbar and cervical spine a couple years back. She went from doctor to doctor in the United States of America but was unable to find a substantial solution. During this period her pain started getting worse causing her to stop working. She was always on opium to manage the pain.
