Dr Rushi Deshpande

• Dr Rushi has worked in Nephrology for 16 years.
• During his subspeciality training, he did rotational postings in wards, out patients, consultation services, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and renal transplant services.
• He has been trained in management of patients with various renal problems such as acute renal failure, chronic renal failure, hypertension, nephrotic syndrome, nephritic syndrome and transplant patients.
• He has been exposed to routine and emergency management of patients admitted in other specialties with associated renal problems. He has also been trained in management of all renal emergencies.
• Dr. Rushi has also independently performed kidney biopsies.
• Dr. Rushi has completed clinical fellowship in Nephrology at University of Toronto.
• He started this fellowship on 21st January 2003 and completed on January 20, 2005. This fellowship has allowed his to work in all aspects of nephrology. He has worked extensively on continuous renal replacement therapy in the ICU patients .
• Dr. Rushi has also been involved in the training and teaching of the postgraduate medicine residents doing their rotations in nephrology at the University of Toronto.
