Dr Fatih Güçer

• After graduating from Kabataş Boys High School, Assoc. Prof. Fatih Güçer completed his study in medicine at Trakya University Medical School in 1990.    Between 1991 and 1998, he specialized in gynecology and obstetrics at Karl Franzens University Medical School, Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic.  In addition, he studied gynecologic oncology.  In 1998, he returned to Turkey and served as assistant professor at Trakya University between 1998 and 2003, and as associate professor between 2003 and 2004. 
• Assoc. Prof. Güçer who got a fellowship diploma in gynecologic surgical oncology in 2011 due to his studies in Turkey and abroad has spent most of his work life on gynecologic surgical oncology and gynecologic endoscopic surgery.    Assoc. Prof. Güçer who focused on the treatment of gynecologic cancer and benign gynecologic diseases with robotic or laparoscopic surgery and carried out scientific studies in these fields has 49 international publications which have been referred to more than 600 times.
•   In addition to the speeches on gynecologic oncology at congresses organized in Turkey, he delivered speeches at reputable and important meetings abroad on robotic gynecologic surgery.   Assoc. Prof. Güçer who was the first person to perform robotic radical parametrectomy procedure in Turkey was also the first person who performed the first laparoscopically-assisted radical vaginal trachelectomy in the world. After joining the team that founded Anadolu Medical Center in 2004, Assoc. Prof. Güçer has been serving as Director of Gynecology since 2007.
