• He pursued his MD (Pediatrics) from Grant Medical College, Mumbai after which he went on to receive Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology and Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiac Intensive Care from Narayana Hrudayalaya Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Bangalore.
• He has performed more than 500 pediatric cardiac interventions.
