- Dr Pramod Kumar Julka completed his training from M.D. Anderson Hospital, Houston, Texas, under the fellowship of World Health Organisation and then he went to Long Beach Memorial Cancer Centre in California.
- Dr Pramod has also acted as the Dean of Radiology and Oncology Department at (Academics and Professor) All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India.
- The other notable positions which were held by Dr Julka in his career include: Former Presidentship of the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (for the Northern Chapter)
- He also severed as the former Chairperson of Indian College of Radiation Oncology from 2000 to 2009.
