- Prof. Dr. med. Philip Schöttle has been leading together with PD Dr. med. univ. Armin Keshmiri the Knee and Hip Institute in Munich. Until then he was from January 2013 as the chief physician of the Department of Sports Orthopedics and Traumatology of ISAR Hospital Munich before.
- Prior to this, he headed the joint center in Zurich and from 2007 to 2010 he was Senior Physician of the Department of Sports Orthopedics and Head of Knee Surgery at the Klinikum Rechts der Isar.
