- Dr Parvathi U Iyer presently Director, Paediatric Cardiac Intensive Care at the Fortis Escorts Heart Institute at New Delhi is a Pediatric Congenital Heart Surgery Specialist.
- After graduating from AIIMS, she received training in Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive care at the Royal Childrens Hospital, Melbourne and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney.
- She is the country's first pediatric cardiac intensivist who helped start the first dedicated pediatric cardiac ICU in Northern India in the year 1995, training over 20 pediatric cardiac intensivists.
- She has worked as an Assistant Professor at AIIMS and has won many awards for her outstanding services in cardiology.
