- She completed MBBS in 1965 from University of D.G.O. and M.D from Osmania University in 1972 November.
- Dr. Neena Desai was also awarded by IMA Fellowship Award in 1987 and received Rani Jhansi Award by Samaj Samithi, Hyderabad.
