- Specialist in neurosurgery. In his early work period as well as neurosurgery he was interested in traumatology. In 2000 he was awarded rescue rights and obtained a U.S. certificate of Basic Trauma Life Support, and in 2001 an additional Advance Life Support certification. He practiced in Professor F. Umansky's Neurosurgery Clinic located in Haddasah Hospital in Ein Karem in Jerusalem, Israel.
