Knee Surgery (ACL)
I came to India, last year in January for my treatment from Kenya. I am a basketball player. During one of the games, I slammed into my opponent and fell directly to the floor. I had a severe concussion. I don’t even remember anything after that. All I recall was that I woke up on a hospital bed and tried standing stressed about the game and fell directly on the floor. My ACL had completely torn apart. I felt like it was my worst nightmare. After consulting some doctors, I realized that there is no technology available in Kenya to improve my condition. One of the doctors suggested I come to India, and thankfully I did. I met Dr Amite Pankaj at Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh. He is the best doctor in the world to me. He didn’t allow me to give up. He performed reconstruction surgery on my ACL; he saved my career my passion. He also ensured during my stay at the hospital, that I engage actively in my physical therapy, which I obviously did. Knee Replacement
Dr Amite Pankaj performed Fast Track knee replacement surgery on my father last month. My father had been resisting getting surgery for 2 years because he is scared of needles, but the constant pain finally became overbearing for him, so he agreed to it. He was able to walk within 24 hours. And within a week he was walking any support. Now it’s been two months, and he regularly goes to the park with my kids. Dr Amite Pankaj is incredible. I recommend him to everyone.
