Patient: Muzhda Ehsan

Country: Afghanistan

Disease: Blood Cancer

Doctor: Dr Dharma R Choudhary

Muzhda Ehsan, a very young girl from Afghanistan, came to India, with her uncle to receive treatment for blood cancer.

The family had tried their best to find a suitable doctor for Muzhda’s treatment in Afghanistan; however, the lack of technology made it difficult.

After a while, the family also started getting concerned, as it was causing a delay in her treatment. So they decided to come to India and received treatment from BLK Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi.

Dr Dharma R Choudhary, Director of BLK’s Bone Marrow Transplant Department managed Muzhda Ehsan’s case.

Dr Dharma told the patient’s family that the treatment would take approximately 6 months, and the family gave their consent to continue it. Within 3 months into the treatment, Muzhda’s condition had gotten better, and her family is very thankful of the hospital.
