Treatment: Bilateral DJ Stenting + Penile Prosthesis + Lap Coli-cystectomy

Doctor: Dr Mohan Keshavamurthy │ Director of Urology & Transplant Surgery Department

Hospital: Fortis Hospital Bannerghatta Road

Mr Kassie Brandon Brain, a young student from Uganda, had been suffering from unexplained symptoms like swelling, sweating and more since the age of 5. Doctors checked him, but they were not able to find the cause of the problem.

During a visit to Uganda, Dr Mohan Keshavamurthy checked Mr Kassie’s case and asked him to come to India for treatment. Hopeful with the news, Kassie decided to come to Fortis Hospital, Bannerghatta Road in Bangalore.

Dr Mohan Keshavamurthy after analysing his case performed a Bilateral DJ Stenting, Penile Prosthesis and a Lap Coli-cystectomy on the patient.

Kassie was able to walk within 15 hours after his surgery. His surgery was performed using minimally invasive techniques, as the doctor didn’t want to leave any scars on himbecause of his young age.
