Mr John Bitrus, a Nigerian patient, was recommended to come to India, by his doctors at Nigeria, who did not have the latest technology to perform an angioplasty on the patient.

The patient had been suffering from intense headaches for a few months which was getting worse. He was also experiencing blackout episodes during this time.

Initially, when he was planning on coming to India, he was considering Fortis Hospital, but his doctors insisted him to go to Metro Hospital and receive consultation from Dr Purshotam Lal.

Upon his arrival at the hospital, Mr John’s medical condition was investigated, in which it was revealed that he had a blockage in his head. The doctors decided to perform a cerebral angioplasty on the patient, that helped in opening the blockage, allowing the blood to flow smoothly.
