Patient: Goniri Muhammad

Age: 60

Country: Nigeria

Problem: Prostate Cancer & Spine Ache

Treatment: Prostate & Spine Surgery

Doctor: Dr Rajakumar BV

Hospital: Fortis Hospital Bannerghatta Road

MrGoniri Muhammad was diagnosed with an enlarged prostate during a health screening ritual at his company. At the time doctors had warned him to get treatment as soon as possible as overtime he was at high risk of experiencing urinal problems. Over time he also started experiencing backache.

Tired of his persistent pain, he decided to come to India, Fortis Hospital, on the recommendation of a few friends who had a positive stay at the hospital.

The patient was investigated on his arrival at the hospital to check if he is eligible for the surgery. During this time MrGoniri ensured to discuss both his spinal and prostate problems.

The reports were fine, so Dr Mohan (Head Urology at the hospital) performed a prostate removal surgery on the patient. Dr Rajakumar BV (Neurosurgeon) performed a spine surgery on MrGoniri after two days of his prostate procedure.

Both procedures were performed successfully, and the patient also recovered very well after them.
